We were pleased to celebrate the official opening of the Hillstowe Central Park with residents and special guest, MP Brad Battin.
The residents of Hillstowe were treated to complementary pizzas, coffees, and cakes. Tying into the ornamental fruit tree grove planted within the park, guests enjoyed a refreshment stand with dehydrated fruits to garnish their sparkling mineral water.
Hillstowe’s littlest residents were treated to a bubble workshop, story time under the big gumtree, face painting and looked on in amazement at the stunning stilt walkers. Adults and children alike enjoyed the live entertainment of an acoustic musician.
More than one hectare in size, the park includes an array of play equipment, active zones and calming spaces designed to support the local community to re-connect in nature.
